My Tc is going into meltdown after derestriction. The speed gauge indicates 90kh when I’m at 50 and the batteries have both melted. The frist one when I was changing and the second one after a 30 min commute at 60kh. Has this happened to anyone?

@dre Yes I had that, also on derestrict mode. I don't know 100% if it's the cause but that can be one of the causes.

@bozok hi mate in same boat. My 2021 refuses to exceed 48 kph even with a light body on board. I am curious why the hack no longer works and if there is a way around it.

I thought i was just us in Australia as the Soco people keep giving the company line of its illegal to go more than 50kmh yet I think its probably more to do with sales of TC Max which would be pretty average if the TC can go 75kmh as I have read some have done.Personally 50kmh max is dangerous here unless you stick to back roads. I only wanted to be able to go 60kph but now up a mild incline at selection 3, I can only go 30kph. The dealer would buy the bike back as its useless to me,but only for nearly half the cost!!

surely someone knows how to get just 10-15 kph more top speed?????

re:speeding up the TC-Cafe Racer

You buy a woodniu 72240 controller (65km/hr) or woodniu 72300 controller ( 75km/hr) or woodniu 72300 controller (+ another battery same specs and DBP Y-cable module or 60v/60ah battery(s) ) 85-95km/hr.

The controller is a drop in replacement and costs $450-$650.

You can then purchase a 17inch GEN.IV. 5000w hubmotor from QSMOTORS (woodniu 72300 controller) and get 110km/hr+ but the main features are advanced regen braking and acceleration.

Installing any of the woodniu controllers will enable the regen braking in the stock bosch 1900w-3000w motor and greatly improve acceleration.

woodniu tech store is the best experience I've had online.

I bought a 72300 controller, dbp_Y-cable module and a 2nd OEM 60v/30ah battery, ts handle bars, handlebar endmirrors and sound module for my TC-Cafe.

I will be buying new tyres which will add 5kms/hr and eventually a qsmotor and 2x60v/60ah batteries once I've used up the current gear.
